Now that summer’s officially over, we’re recapping the eventful third quarter we had here at Raken. That includes the addition of new integrations, new features, and enhancements to existing features to streamline workflows.
Here’s what’s new:
Better track and manage equipment
Now, Raken users can more granularly track their valuable assets, keep an eye on critical usage details, and improve equipment utilization. Our newly enhanced equipment management capabilities help you get a clear picture of owned and rented equipment across your company and projects with detailed reporting and dashboards.
You can also set up automated email notifications for missed logs, scheduled maintenance, reported deficiencies, and rental return dates. Extend your equipment’s lifespan and make the most of it while you have it.
Convenient in-app document storage and organization
Make sure crews in the field can access critical documents by uploading and organizing files right in the Raken app. Create custom folders for RFIs, safety reports, plans, and more—plus search to quickly find what you need.
You can even mark up PDFs to improve team collaboration. With our new document management capabilities, you don’t have to worry about flipping through messy file cabinets anymore.
New integrations in Raken
Simplify job costing and payroll with Sage Intacct
With our new Sage Intacct integration, you can automatically sync important project and employee data to simplify job costing and save hours on payroll each week.
Now, customers can easily transfer time cards from Raken back to Sage Intacct with just a click, and get teams paid correctly and on time every pay period.
Monitor the jobsite remotely with TrueLook
Watch a live video feed of the jobsite right within the Raken app thanks to our newest integration with TrueLook. Their cameras capture critical information from the jobsite and can even show you progress over time via timelapse footage.
Plus, you can keep projects on track by catching problems before they get worse and secure the jobsite with 24/7 monitoring.
Usability improvements in Raken
Customize cover photos for daily reports
Select the four photos that you would like to appear at the top of your daily reports so you can emphasize the most important details.
Require photo ID for verification on breaks
Prevent time theft and track accurate hours by requiring photo ID each time a worker punches out for a break. Workers will simply take a selfie, the same way they do when they clock in and out of their shift.
Easily download and export incident reports
After adding incident capture last quarter, users now have the ability to download and export reports. Simply record safety incidents from the field, track incident data across projects, and export the reports you need for OSHA compliance.
Schedule and assign toolbox talks by group
Now, you can schedule and assign toolbox talks by group and collect signatures to target workers assigned to specific projects. Focus on priorities and issues that are unique to each jobsite.
Quickly manage tasks across projects on mobile
We improved the mobile functionality of our task management feature to make things even easier for project managers and their collaborators. View all of your tasks or filter by status, add new tasks, and edit existing ones more efficiently within the mobile app.
More features coming soon
We’re continuing to improve our app with new features and enhancements, including the ability to favorite photos in project galleries, as well as track your small equipment within Raken. Stay tuned!
